Plant A Internet Marketing Seed
Posted by: | CommentsDear Fellow Internet Marketer, It is vital to create a product that will allow you to eventually expand into other markets.
The goal is for the people who initially buy your product to also want to buy your next product. If you have proven that you can be trusted by having delivered a product to your clients they love it will be much easier to obtain their business when your launch your new item to the online marketplace.
We need to understand a seed (your first sale to a customer) is truly important indeed. You need to see your first product as that seed. You see this is about creating an Internet Marketing Empire, a virtual empire of products that all start with one tiny seed that is planted in the fertile soil of those hearts that are eager for your particular product.
For example, I am in the process of creating a set of online videos where I teach students the various techniques needed to have success marketing online. My area of expertise lies in the field of Internet Marketing. My target market would be those people just coming into this field.
I realize though that if I wish to branch out and sell different yet similar products later I will have to pick a product that these "newbies" will also enjoy. Now I know that my second product launched will be based on teaching what "tools" will be needed and how to use them.
Branching out even further, a forum would be established as a means to promote interaction amoung the students. It is amazing to see how all this began from the planting of one little seed.
As we all know marketing is a numbers game and the bigger number of people you have on your marketing list the better your chance of survival and dominance. Think about your online marketing seed before you plant it. You want to plant something that will grow into something huge.
When you look into the jungle you see an incredible array of trees. That is what you should want your seed to turn into. The trees in your Internet jungle will be represented by the vast amount of names on your email list who want your first and all additional products you will create. The product you create should also appeal to as many people as possible.
I know those who may not be interested in the basics of internet marketing may be interested in the tools used and vice versa. I could use the "how to" bait to reel in the "what to use" fish. When your Internet marketing seed is sown you will reap the harvest of personal freedom. This translates into having the freedom to spend time doing what is really important.
Even though I am blessed to be doing well working from my home right now, my goal is to create an online marketing kingdom. God is of course the king, I am the king, my wife is the queen and my son is the prince. I plan to give my son the choice to attend college or as the prince of the family become the boss while the queen and I enjoy our travels. It all starts with that tiny Internet marketing seed.
The Bible talks about having the faith of a mustard seed and what can happen if we have just a bit of faith. We have to have dreams, big dreams and seeing those dreams become realities is quite inspirational and shows that this Internet marketing thing is real. No one in your circle of naysayers can argue with your results unless they choose to be up against the truth of your success.

Affiliate Marketing Affiliate Marketing can be very profitable if done correctly! What I mean by that is how you setup your offer to your list for the product or service you are promoting. Affiliate marketing is done almost the same as if you were promoting your own product or service. You really need to "Pre-sell" the item in your message. You need to have your prospect ready to Click On The Order Button as soon as they land on the sales page! This really isn’t that hard to do (but most people won’t take the time to do it.) You need to make your offer stand out from the rest of the offers that are being mailed out. This is especially true if the product or service your promoting is a really good one. Because there will be a ton of people trying to get the affiliate sale. Your Offer Must Stand Out As The Best Value For Their Dollar! You can do this by adding a set of your own bonuses to what ever else is offered on the sales page. You tell your prospects that when they purchase through your link and send you proof of the purchase you will give them access to
These are products you have access to that in some way relate to the offer being promoted. This will almost assure you will receive the lions share of the affiliate sales for the offer being promoted. Everyone wants as much as they can get for their buck. So it only makes sense that a person will make a purchase through an affiliate link that gives them 3 extra products for the same amount of money.
If the product or service you are promoting is selling well and or it pays High commissions, you will have a lot of competition vying for the sale. Yes everyone wants to know the answer to that question. And depending on who you talk to the answer will most likely be different!
Yes there are people who run an online business and make a lot of money doing so. Not all of them would call themselves Online Marketers though.
These people are just using the internet to boost their sales for their offline business.
Then there are those who do have a web based business that they have created from (or about) something they have a passion for.
These would be called Niche Marketers!
I would venture to say that this class of Internet Marketer makes the most money! Why do I say this? Because They Don’t Try To Sell to their visitors.
Yes you read that right. I think they make more because they don’t try to sell to their visitors! They provide content to their visitors that is based on what their visitors interest are.
Have you guessed what form of Internet Marketing I am talking about?
It is Blogging!
Blogging is simply a person writing about a specific topic on which they know a lot of information about! Or maybe they know a little and invite their visitors to make comments with their own opinion.
This type of marketer would most likely make money by monetizing their blog by way of paid advertising space, or promoting a product related to their specific niche market, either as an affiliate or a product they created.
The important thing is they do not just push these things at their visitors. They just have them available on their site. As their visitors are interacting with the site they see these ads and or products listed on the side bar. And since they are interested in the topic of the blog they are reading they would naturally be drawn to topics (Ads and Products) that are related.
See? No Selling being done at all! Just providing access to what their visitors are interested in.

There are lots of people out there who supplement their income via affiliate programs. These programs are designed by various websites to solicit sales using other people as salesmen.
